Even during these uncertain times, Parra Pediatrics is delivering the care you need.
We carefully follow all enforced safety precautions to continue taking care of new and existing patients, both in-person and through virtual visits. We’ve added extra precautions to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission:
Safety Procedures In Place
Reopening our practice requires new health and safety protocols that consider COVID-19. Below, we outline some general best practices we have put in place to protect our patients and our employees.
- We wear personal protective equipment (PPE):): gloves, gowns, masks, eyewear, and face shields.
- We are scheduling sick visits and well-child visits during different times of the day.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for COVID-19 screening procedures.
- We ask patients to remain outside in their vehicles until they are called into the office for their appointment.
- Only one parent per the patient is permited.
- Hand sanitizer conveniently available to all, so please sanitize your hands.
- Using TeleMedicine with video and phone visits for appointments before, after, or instead of face-to-face care.
- Taking the temperature of everyone entering the office.
- Screening of all patients for symptoms and possible COVID-19 exposure before entering our office.
- Wearing a mask is required for all patients and visitors.
- Waiting areas arranged for social distancing.
- Enhanced cleaning of exam rooms and equipment after each patient.
- Additional deep cleaning of office spaces.
We offer COVID-19 testing
If you think your child needs to be tested for COVID-19 please follow the following:

- Call our office to schedule a Telemedicine appointment and answer all the COVID-19 screening questions first.
- On the day of the scheduled test, call our office when you arrive at the parking lot to let us know you have arrived.
- Please stay in the car our staff will go to your car and performed the test.
- We will call you with the results in approximately 17 days.
If you are having an emergency, please call 911.
